"MAP" Exhibition

On the occasion of the XXIV General Assembly of Geodesy and Geophysics, which will be held in Perugia from 02/07/2007 to 13/07/2007, the CNR, in collaboration with the Military Geographical Institute and the Army School of Foreign Languages, proposes creating a cartographic exhibition to show the evolution of maps from Renaissance to today. Every four years the International Union of Geodesy Geophysics brings together researchers of Geodetic and Geophysical Sciences from all continents.

"Goccia a Goccia" Exhibition

With the new interactive exhibit created by POST, the Museum has provided the visitors with the opportunity to familiarize with water, a simple but mysterious, amazing, and precious molecule. The exhibition has been designed in conjunction with the Conference XXIV IUGG (International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics), an event that led to Perugia about 4500 scientists from all over the world.

The Flower Film Festival: the international film festival inspired by flowers, green, environment, nature and landscape, was officially presented Saturday, July 7, 2007 in Spello (PG), where for the occasion the special session dedicated to the value of the water resource for humanity, which is as well a main theme of the XXIV General Assembly of IUGG (International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics), took place.

"Alberto Biasi: the Movement, the Space"

On the occasion of the XXIV Meeting of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG), "Earth: our changing planet," The Swan DD Editions of Rome organized a unique exhibition that combines the science with art. Fine Arts Academy

Perugia Academy of Fine Arts, the second oldest in Italy, was founded by the painter Orazio Alfani and the architect and mathematician Raffaello Sozi in 1573, only 11 years after the Florence one; it has had its premises in the former Franciscan monastery of San Francesco al Prato since the beginning of the 20th century.
